Equinox Homecoming Unveils New Island, Story Chapter, and Dynamic Jumping Mechanics

Equinox Homecoming, the early-access horse-mystery MMORPG, has delivered its latest free update, adding Chapter 3 of the central story, an entirely new explorable island and the community’s long-requested environmental jumping system.
Blue Scarab Entertainment pushed the patch live on Monday, August 18, serving eight new main quests, six optional side arcs and ten weekly missions to advance the overarching plot while expanding end-game content for early-access riders.

Sunset Lake, the new zone, draws visual cues from rural Swedish summer vistas and is designed from the ground up for open-world riding, offering extended gallop lanes and vista-chasing.

Quality-of-life additions in the same build include a loyalty currency exclusive to early adopters, added sliders for camera and control settings, full English subtitles, extended localization tables and an overhauled quest log UI to track the now longer objective chains.

Jumping is labelled a “first iteration,” so players can expect to find footholds that developers have not fine-tuned, and Blue Scarab warns these gaps will be addressed in incremental hotfixes.

Fresh customization options round out the patch, but new story cutscenes are still under production.

Steam players can update immediately via the full build notes.
