BitCraft’s first instanced PvE content is live, turning the sandbox MMORPG’s open wilderness into a gateway for structured danger and loot. A single update deployed this week unlocks perilous dungeons populated by fierce monsters and a towering world boss named the feral Sentinel, giving groups a new place to hunt for rare trophies and test builds far from player-run towns.
The same patch rewrites moment-to-moment combat: the action bar now supports expanded weapon abilities, including multi-target strikes, and the studio Clockwork Labs promises smoother ability selection while kiting or blocking. A short pre-patch hit Steam earlier in the week to iron out ability queuing and hit registration issues that testers flagged during the summer play-tests.
Dungeons arrive just as the early-access roadmap shifts toward territory conflict. Opt-in Empire Battles are slated for fall, accompanied by a full overhaul of gathering and crafting meant to tighten resource flow and deepen inter-player trade. Skill lines and specializations will also expand, presumably to keep crafters and combatants relevant as both new PvE prizes and siege loot enter circulation.
Clockwork Labs positions the new instances as repeatable content that still respects BitCraft’s community-building ethos: keys are crafted rather than cash-bought, boss timers reset weekly, and rare mats salvaged inside feed directly into city-building projects on the surface. Players who prefer terraforming and trade can sell services to raiders, while dedicated fighters now have concrete progression targets before the larger PvP layer opens.
