World of Warcraft: Midnight took center stage during the Gamescom 2025 developer panel, confirming key features that will reshape the end-game landscape when the expansion launches in the first half of 2026.
The newly revealed Haranir allied race, complete with a pangolin-themed druid travel form, anchors a cultural tour of Quel’Thalas that spans eight fresh dungeons including Windrunner Spire, Magister’s Terrace and the Blinding Vale. Group progression widens further with three launch-season raids tailored to multiple difficulty brackets.
Delve gameplay expands to 11 total instances: ten standard runs plus a new Nemesis-tied capstone delve. Valeera Sanguinar replaces Brann Bronzebeard as the AI companion who keeps the torch lit in these bite-size challenges. The panel emphasized that every delve is being built with speed runs and solo viability in mind for players with limited time.
