Lost Ark Launches Nine-Week Assault: Rimeria Event with Exclusive Raid Rewards

Lost Ark players who crave fresh endgame challenges can mark September 17 on their calendars, as the upcoming patch introduces the nine-week Assault: Rimeria event. The limited-time campaign opens both a four-player dungeon and an eight-player raid that will reward successful adventurers with event-only currency redeemable for high-value gear, upgrade materials and cosmetics. The entire event disappears when the window closes, so consistent weekly clears will be necessary to maximize gains.

Beyond Rimeria, the update layers two permanent tools into the UI. An Honor system lets teammates gift recognition points to cooperative or standout performers after any group activity; accumulated honor contributes toward account-bound bonuses that Smilegate says will scale in future seasons. A built-in Combat Analyzer also arrives, parsing personal and party DPS, stagger uptime, counters and death counts after every skirmish, giving veterans a no-mod method to review rotations and improve clear times.

Although launch day will add these headline features, the studio has warned that a new Paradise System area planned for the same build is temporarily inaccessible due to an internal error; a hotfix is scheduled within 24-48 hours to unlock the zone.
