Terraria developer Re-Logic has locked an internal launch window for the long-delayed patch 1.4.5, telling players in the August 2025 state-of-the-game post that the team has entered “the endgame now.” After a final triage session that deferred low-priority items, studio staff say they are on a true final push that will deliver the update to every platform—PC, console and mobile—“at or around the same time.” No public release date was given, but the commitment ends years of rolling “soon” statements.
Alongside the milestone, Re-Logic confirmed that cross-play between PC and console editions will follow patch 1.4.5, and the latest TModLoader refresh is already live for PC modders. Terraria’s presence at Gamescom 2025 indicated that marketing assets and certification paperwork are aligning with the internal schedule, increasing confidence that the patch will ship before the end of the year.
