Tencent’s global version of the cross-platform MMORPG Tarisland will shut down for good on 4 November 2025 at 00:00 GMT, exactly 16 months after its Western launch. New account creation and all cash-shop purchases have already been disabled; existing players may continue to log in and spend remaining currency until termination day, after which every character, item and payment record will be permanently deleted unless the user files a separate data-deletion request. The closure notice, posted under publisher Proxima Beta (Level Infinite), offers no in-game sunset events or transfer options, citing only “inconvenience caused” and ending further communication. The move follows months of silent maintenance, an iOS client that ceased functioning earlier this week, and community-run countdowns tracking the last developer message.
