Skyforge’s Final Sunset: MMORPG Closes After Decade-Long Journey

The MMORPG Skyforge has officially powered down its PC servers at 5 a.m. EDT this morning, closing a decade-long run that began under Allods Team and Obsidian Entertainment before shifting to My.Games and, finally, Russian publisher Innova. A farewell patch delivered extra currency and commemorative content in July, and community members captured the last minutes on YouTube—mostly in Russian—documenting final gatherings in Aelion’s hubs and the last world-transformation cutscene.

While the PC realm is gone, the PlayStation and Xbox builds remain playable until 29 October 2025, giving console players a brief extension to finish campaigns or simply screenshot their characters before the inevitable shutdown. No migration path has been announced, so any progress left on PC after this morning’s cutoff is now inaccessible.
