Wizard101 Console Launch Nears: Final Stretch Confirmed for Cross-Platform MMORPG Expansion

KingsIsle Entertainment has moved the long-awaited console adaptation of Wizard101 into the final, final stretch, according to its latest state-of-the-video released on the official KingsIsle YouTube channel. COO Leah Ruben told viewers that submission packages have already been sent for hardware partner review at PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo, and the team is now coordinating the last certificates before launch. While no specific release date or update cadence was shared, Ruben underlined that the launch is sooner than soonish, dispelling years of patient waiting from the game’s school-spell community.

In the same update, KingsIsle highlighted recent content that will affect both PC and upcoming console players: Wizard101 received the All-Time Heist raid, and Pirate101 deployed its同名 spring patch that revisits cooperative piratical PvE. Additionally, the European shard of Wizard101 just became current with the spring 2025 update, synchronising the global ruleset ahead of the console debut.

No pricing or cross-platform details were disclosed. Console wizards should watch KingsIsle’s channels for certification news and release timing when the final submissions clear.
