New Co-op Roguelite Towa Launches Globally

Bamco has just launched a new co-op roguelite game titled Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. The game is now available on console and PC via Steam. Developed by Bamco and Brownies Inc., Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is described as a “roguelite action-adventure game” that can be played via single-player, local co-op, and online multiplayer.

In the game, players engage in sword- and magic-based combat with eight playable characters, battling to save Shinju Village and the fate of the world from the evil Magatsu and his army of Magaori. The game features fast-paced action, hand-drawn style characters, stunning painterly scenery, and a unique soundtrack by legendary composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.

The game’s launch covers PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, with a price tag of $29.99. A demo is also available for those who want to try the game before purchasing.
