Corepunk Intensifies PvP Combat with New Battleground and Server Fixes

Artificial Core has pushed a slate of August patches to its fog-of-war MMOARPG, Corepunk, headlined by the introduction of a brand-new Capture the Orb PvP battleground. Players can now drop into the rotating queue where controlling a lone, mobile orb is the only path to victory; additional spawn shields and safe-zone regeneration should shorten downtime between respawns while keeping mounted movement intact for faster front-line reinforcement.

Competitive queues are not the only beneficiaries this month: server stability took top priority as repeated crashes, mid-fight disconnects, and client freezes forced the studio to roll out emergency endpoint optimizations and incremental memory fixes. Daily update notes confirm incident rates are trending downward, but Artificial Core is continuing nightly restarts to gather final telemetry.

The same builds also bundled the usual post-launch housekeeping: targeted hero balance changes, a solid stack of bug kills, and better activity reward scaling for battleground tokens and open-world events. To show off the resulting smoother sessions, the team released fresh key art spotlighting a neon-lit cyber-wolf front and center, plus a limited Twitch Drops campaign that hands out the exclusive Toxic Gladiator armor set and an emerald-tinted Cyber Horse for consecutive hours watched. Streams are live now through September 3.
