Blue Protocol Star Resonance has launched its closed beta today and locked in a global release next October 2025, moving from rumor to playable in a single Gamescom-week reveal.
Bokura, A Plus Japan and Tencent confirm that the re-imagining of the original Bandai IP will ship simultaneously on PC and mobile. A bespoke mobile UI has been built for touchscreens while keeping parity in graphics, progression and the fully shared world of Regnus. Both ecosystems share the same servers from day one, ensuring cross-platform guilds, raids and chat.
Entry to the closed beta is rolling and server capacity will decide when additional testers are added. Players who want in early can register at the official site, while Steam wishlists for the PC version are already active here.
The October launch, only eight weeks away, vaults Blue Protocol Star Resonance into the crowded fall release calendar but offers a rare same-day PC/mobile option for time-conscious gamers planning their next virtual home.
