Crystal of Atlan’s first Gamescom appearance exploded into a trans-dimensional raid as publisher Nuverse flipped the switch on a surprise Digimon Adventure crossover event. From now through August 24, 2025, the Weapon Testing Ground in Atlan has become a tear between realities, letting players battle the mechanical juggernaut Machinedramon alongside two of the franchise’s most iconic partners.
Account-wide rewards include Agumon and Gatomon combat pets. In combat, Agumon can warp-digivolve into WarGreymon as a burst-damage ultimate, while Gatomon shifts into Angewomon to provide team healing and holy damage. Mount collectors gain Garurumon and MetalGarurumon riding forms, each with its own sprint skill, available through short daily or repeatable quests tied to the mini-campaign.
The studio reiterated that no character gacha exists, although cosmetic and pet crates that include Digimon skins still operate on a gacha system. The event is simultaneous at Gamescom and already live on PC, PlayStation 5 and mobile platforms.
